End-to-end solutions for measuring and developing innovation management capacities of companies
The Innovation Program is designed by the Ministry of Industry and Technology, United Nations Development Program (UNDP), and Manisa Industrial Park Innovation Center to measure, analyze and develop the innovation management capacities of companies.
The aim of the program is to provide mentorship, consultancy, and training support to the projects that will be prepared in the light of measurement and analysis studies carried out in line with the aim of increasing the innovation capacity of companies.
Within the scope of the program, a unique innovation management capacity measurement tool named iMAGE (Innovation Management Assessment Gadget for Enterprises) was developed. The iMAGE Innovation Management Capacity Assessment Tool has been prepared in accordance with the approach of ISO 56002 Innovation Management System Standard.
In addition to measuring the innovation management capacities of companies in comparison with other companies participating in the program, the Innovation Program also includes road maps and detailed projects covering activities aimed at improving the innovation capacity of companies with tools designed specifically for the program.
Your tailor-made digital transformation evaluation analysis and roadmap
Boosting the process of digitalization and digital transformation is the key to increasing industrial efficiency and securing international competitiveness, as well as producing high-value-added services and products.
In this context, we introduce the Digital Transformation Evaluation Tool (D3A), developed in collaboration with Bogazici University Industrial Platform 4.0 and TÜBİTAK – Turkey Industrial Shipping and Administration Institute (TUSSIDE).
We’re working together to minimize uncertainties in your digital transformation by creating a tailor-made digitization roadmap. We may also associate you with companies from national databases to find the most suitable suppliers for the digitization headings included in your roadmap.
Designing capability improvement program on R&D and Design Center establishment process
MIP Innovation Centre aims to increase the number of R&D and Design Centers of the manufacturing companies by offering a comprehensive capacity-building program for the potential companies. The program covers training, consultancy, and mentorship tools to prepare the companies for the R&D or Design Center establishment process according to the relevant legislation. At the end of the program, we provide the companies with an assessment report that outlines the current situation analysis, areas of improvement, and a roadmap that covers the basic milestones of the application process.

Improving the capacity of the existing R&D and Design Centres is another goal of the MIP Innovation Centre. The target group of this program is the creative class that works for the R&D and Design Centres. The training has been designed to improve innovation management and project design capacities of the target group by equipping them with relevant information on international funds, research and publication methodology, intellectual property rights, and patent literacy. Furthermore, we also design specific capacity-building programs for R&D and Design centers upon request.
Towards regional innovation ecosystem leadership through research-oriented clusters
One of the most important tools of the new regional development approach is research-oriented clusters. Numerous scientific studies clearly show the positive effects of clustering on the competitiveness of companies. The main reasons that create this difference are the ease of access to inputs or the market, and the increase observed in the innovation capacity of companies thanks to intense interaction. Cluster organizations, on the other hand, provide value chain-specific services in areas such as exploring new markets for companies, expanding existing markets, internationalization, creating common infrastructure, and skill development by catalyzing interaction among the value chain actors.
Our center, together with its regional stakeholders, aims to form and nurture clusters in the fields of mobility, consumer electronics, and food technologies.

Within the scope of the OASISS program, we offer end-to-end solutions to improve the capacity of OIZ employees in the area of sustainability through the means of training, workshops, games, and collaborative strategy building. In this context, we aim to identify the improvement areas of organized industrial zones in the fields of climate change and sustainability to ensure their transformation at technical and cultural levels.
Under the coordination of the MIP Innovation Centre, three companies have designed a tailor-made program to improve the digital competency of the white collars of industrial parks and chambers. FESTO as the leading provider of Industry 4.0 systems and training is providing entry-level technical training for the program. The mindset transformation and cultural aspects of the program are designed by WSS. The training and workshops are gamified by MOTIVACRAFT. Following the implementation of the pilot program in the Manisa Industrial Park, the program will be intended to be applied to the other organized industrial zones and chambers.
